Ok so it is my thoughts that we setup a Facebook page specifically for Reef Ed 2013. As we discussed Trevor aka Coloagro is coming on board to help us out with this other advertising avenues.

This thread will serve as a place to discuss the Face Book page thoughts and ideas for it.

I beleive I was going to originally set this up. But since we have Trevor on the comitee now, I think he might be better suited to it since he has more experience with facebook.

Trevor, are you up for taking this on? If not, I will work on it this week since we now have confirmed dates and venue.

Yep I'll draft an "unpublished FB page" this weekend into early part of next week and add everyone in here as a moderator/manager so you guys can feel free to add/subtract etc whatever content you want. Once its approved we'll publish and starting the linking process. Shouldnt take me very long just have a busy weekend this weekend. I'm also drafting our flyer template in InDesign. Hope to be done with that by next weekend.

I just went through that entire list of potential sponsors and googled each of their sites in order to add them as our friends on the MASC FB page. I also added a bunch of new vendors that weren't on the list. Most of these companies are smaller so they will see we sought them out via their analytic's...anything helps! The more credibility and value we add to our event via site updates etc the more sponsors will see the value in our event. Hope this helps....I've got plenty of other ideas...just ask :)
