ReefStock - March 2nd & 3rd - Official Raffle Thread

Greetings!!

It's that time of year when coral addicts start thinking about the bounty of goods and critters that will be available during ReefStock. We blew the doors off the Downtown Aquarium over the past few years and will be holding the event in a larger location, Red & Jerry's in Sheridan, just off Santa Fe and Oxford.

Did I mention that we've grown to two full days this year?? Speakers, vendors, corals and of course.... the ReefStock raffle.

The event will be held Saturday March 2nd, from Noon - 6pm and Sunday March 3rd from 10am - 4pm. We will have 2 raffles per day as well as two speakers each day. Entry is $10 per day, or $15 for both days while kids 17 & under are admitted for free. Parking is free as well!

What's up you guys! I am stoked to see the annual cycle of excitement that you all show for our nice little annual reef aquarium show. If you remember the first time in 2008 when we had a mind-blowing 225 people show up to the Curtis Hotel, and in 2012 the fourth year at the Denver Downtown Aquarium we had over 700 of you guys in a single day. By going to two days we can really expand ReefStock into something really special. ReefStock has grown and grown and wouldn't you know it, this year we could have on our hands the third largest aquarium conference in the country, vis-a-vis America!


Rob and I (Jake) and many others are working hard to get the hottest coral vendors, the best led light makers, the best additive producers, the awesomest raffle prizes for you to win. The enthusiasm around the country is so palpable that three of our first out-of-town vendors to sign up were Cherry Corals, World Wide Corals and Unique Corals, arguably three of the most skilled coral specialist in America (Reefkoi & Gonzo are a given).

And the larger, nicer venue is possible thanks to six major sponsors which make the most coveted reef aquarium products including Neptune Systems, Reef Nutrition, Piscine Energetics, AquaIllumination, Ecotech Marine and Ecoxotic. Also, since this is a Reef Builders event, between the sponsors and the many many other manufacturers, we expect some major product announcements shown off in our home state for the first time, ever.

From the beginning the support of local reef clubs has been an integral part of building up ReefStock. That is why it was a no brainer to offer your club a table to share what you have to offer to the local reefing community. I went last year. Won TONS of stuff. So much so that I heard someone say "god!! her again?" as I was picking up another package. Can't WAIT to win a bunch more this year. There's more corals and fancy techie stuff there than you can shake a stick at! So stoked.
