How long they been in the saltwater again? Did you use fresh saltwater when you put them in the container, and have you tested it at all? There is likely to be quite a bit of dead material in the rocks, so they defiantly would need to be fully cycled before adding back to the main tank. This...

Ya. I have the same problem too. MH lights put to much glare across the top to take any decent photos without a porthole. Although maybe a good excuse to make or buy one lol

If you can clip out the rock around the base that would be the best way to remove it, but if you can't do that you can just use your fingers, or even a credit card, to work the base of it off the rock. I'd try dipping the colony in Bayer or Coral RX and take a toothbrush and lightly scrub the base of them. Be sure to scrub them under water though as you dont want to give yourself paly toxin poisoning

I take it you didn't QT him? Either way my guess would be either he injured himself somehow, or possibly some sort of infection. If its an injury and he keeps eating then it should clear up on its own. If its an infection you may need to consider putting him in QT and start with some...
