Hey! We need some input on what kind of events/meetings you'd like to see coming up! Here are some ideas we've been kicking around. Vote for whichever ones sound like something you'd like to attend!
- "Show and Tell Tank Problems" Night. Members bring photos, short videos, water test results, whatever. And then we have quick 5-10 minute mini troubleshooting sessions as a club. Good support for beginners and experts alike.
- DIY Workshop Night. We pick a simple project everyone can learn together. Something like Frag Rack Building, DIY fish food mixing, Aquarium controller basics, RO/DI troubleshooting, cable management, sump organization, etc. Topics can vary
- One-topic Lightning Talks Nights - Have several people give 5-8 minute talks on various topics. "My biggest reef mistake" or "How I beat dinos" or "Best gear upgrade" or whatever. No long lectures, just quick talks from several different people
- Reef Mythbusters Night - we have a list of topics beforehand that we can talk/debate about. "Do water changes matter?" or "Does bottle bacteria work?" and the like. Even if we don't bust any myths, it may be fun to hear a variety of opinions and some good nature arguing!
- Equipment Deep Dive - Lighting, Flow, Filtration, etc. Pick a topic, a presenter or two, and take a deep dive into some of these topics!
- Tank Tour (Virtual Edition) - members submit short tank videos/photos before hand and talk about their setup choices, livestock choices, lessons learn, etc. Think of it as a tank build thread but in real life!
- Reef Confessions Night - anonymous (or not!) submissions where we talk about when we've crashed our tanks, when we've impulse bought a piece of junk, expensive fish that just disappear, how we've caused our worst algae outbreaks (calling out you MuralReef.

- New Reefer Q&A Panel - exactly what it sounds like!
- Tank Planning Workshop - people planning upgrades or new builds bring tank size ideas, equipment lists, budgets, etc. Or it could be a hypothetical tank build. We could build our dream no-limits tank like we had Andrew Sandler's money!
- Reef Roundtable - various discussion topics. What worked this year? What failed? What trend are you skeptical about?
We'll still have our usual meetings for DBTC and the BBQ and such. But what else would you like to see? If you've got any ideas beyond these, we'd love to hear!
