Anyone use them?

If so what brands? Whole house or portable?

I have a humidity exauast that turns on when tge humitity gets to high in my fish room but my upstairs is getting condensation on the windows so my question is What unit should I get I found a 70 pint per day on Home Depot website it's just a portable one. So that would take out roughly 8 gallons a day which is plenty I think anyone have one there not using that wants to get rid of it?

Ill have to check when I get home it is portable and has something like a 3 gallon reservoir with a hook up to plumb directly to a drain or larger vessel.

A humidifier is basically an air conditioning unit, It cools the air until it cant hold the moisture and it falls out, then it reheats the air. Seems like there must be a creative way to use your house ac or even open a window for a short bit to drop out the moisture. I would imagine you are the rare few in CO that has a humidity problem, lol

Not a rare problem at all. A great example is my sliding glass doors freezing shut due to condensation when we had those frigid temps last week. Ive noticed in my place if I keep the air moving the condensation is not present (unless it gets really, really cold). I just use an oscillating fan in my living room and no problems.

My thermostat "nest" will keep the fan running on my heater with the burner off as it reaches temperature. The idea being that the heater is still hot for a bit after the flame is off. I thought that was a great feature as it saves money by using less gas, perhaps it would help with humidity as it moves more air around the house. Of course an oscilating fan would do the same, lol. Just a random thought off the top of my head.
