I got this clam a couple of weeks ago. It opened up and looked great for a week then suddenly it shut. It has stayed almost closed since then. I noticed my yellow tang picking at the mantle and so after doing some research it seems it's not an uncommon occurrence. I moved it this morning and it is still alive and i see that it still looks healthy, but it is just not opening cause the tang keeps nipping. I guess it's either the tang or the clam and since my wife and kids love the tang.....it's gotta be the clam. So, I need to get rid of the clam ASAP. I'd like to trade for something to replace him. Looking for Zoa's, LPS, SPS, 2"-4" blue hippo tang, a reef safe wrasse (possibly). Thanks!
