new sump

i was wondering what your thoughts are on the spacing of the dividers in a sump
i am thinking about 1" on the spacing is this good or bad i am building this on Monday
and Tuesday and would like to get a good idea on the spacing before i start
the material is lexan .25" thick using acrylic weld to glue it together

It depends on tour pump size, I just built a new one yesterday using a 2 3/4" spacing on a sump that will capacitate a 1600gph return. Keep in mind the more you can slow down the water through the sump the fewer micro bubbles you will get. Just my $.02 worth good luck!

the spacing on the dividers is going to be 2" now a new question on the plumbing supply is going to be 1.25" with a tee branching off to .75"
and the return side is to be 1" with a 1" x .75" x .5" tee and two ball valves here is what i am thinking and also i am looking at using abs piping
and clear hose
