Red sead reefer skimmer help

Hi everyone i have a red sea reefer e170 up and running for about 3 weeks now. I have some fish in there and sonic turn on the skimmer but it is making alot of micro bubbles. I try turning down the valve cap but can seem to get it to stop pumping out bubbles into my return pump. Any advice on it ? It's driving me crazy because I can't get a clear water

Don't have experience with Red Sea setups so can't offer much there, although I'm sure someone on here might be able to help. I did find a post on another site with some troubleshooting tips for Red sea. Maybe it can help
