I have just purchased a new tank 150 gallon. I need to put it in the same location as my current one. Would I be able to take the water from curren tank place into new tank to hold my fish for a couple of hours while I swap out the tanks. I would then put the water and fish back into the established tank while new tank cycles. The fish are a large blonde naso, a large Queen Angel. Please advise.

im curious about this too as i hopefully will be upgrading again soon...lol
my 2cents are i would get a bucket or a trash can fill it with the water from the old tank put the fish in it then get everything situated they way you want then like you said i would put them back in the old while the new was cycling. you just want to diminish the transfers as much as possible for stress reasons.
