is it common for zoas and paly to be aggressive eaters ?
I have them in a sea horse tank and saw the zoas and paly catching and eating 1/2 brine shrimp . the skirts grabbed the brine and sorta dragged the shrimp to the mouth

also should i be woryed about the zoas and paly trying to eat the sea horse fry ?

I have seen my palys eat brine shrimp as well as food pellets that the fish missed. Not sure how discriminating their tastes are when it comes to eatin fry.

I was surprised that they grabbed onto 1/2'' live brine ,
how often should palys or zoas feed ? I might try feeding them pellets in hopes on them leaving fry and brine alone

Ya both my palys and zoas are fairly aggressive feeders. The palys in particular are like venus fly traps and snap shut the moment anything falls on them. Seem them take some fairly large piece of food too. The zoas are quite as responsive as the palys but they will eat anything that falls on them too
