On my acro, just yesterday I noticed a brown spot, then today I just checked like 30 min ago and now the skeleton is showing. What do I do. Let it be and see if it gets better. Frag it. I not exactly sure what exactly what I should do

If it is fast necrosis then I think you are just screwed. If it is slow, then maybe you can save it. I had a birds nest do that and just fragged the hell out of it then dipped the pieces for good measure. Make sure to frag off pieces at least 1" away from the rot if you want to try to stop the spread. Also maybe take a few pieces from the far side and move them to try to save it.

edit: ps the core of my coral died, but enough frags survived that I was fine.

With mine you could see it spreading at several hour intervals. Sometimes corals get random dead spots which get covered by algae, which is no problem usually. But if you see it spreading at all I would do some fragging.

Polyps are out and healthy looking. what if it just a cut, im not sure since I just saw the skeleton today if it tissue necrosis.

I had the same problem when I first got into SPS and what I did was put super glue right above the RTN line around the whole branch making sure it is sealed off from continuing up. That worked for me if you do it right.

ok i dont really see any more tissue die off, but will the coral heal itself and incrust over the dead part which is like in the middle of the coral

nice work! Ive had it happen to me.. to destroy some pretty nice bird of paradise, styloporas. Fragging is the way to go. I noticed that it both happened with i was moving the tank around bring up detritus and then moving the corals around....

oh thats good, acros are very very sensitive I guess cause sometimes when I move them just a little bit they die or don't look good
