Brain coral help

#1
So, my kids bought me what I always wanted, but wouldn't put out money for....a T Radiata brain coral. It is beautiful!....Here's is my dilemma....the LFS said to put on rock with a "dome" and most everything I read says to put directly on sand substrate becuase rock will damage it. It is a radiata because it has flat bottom....
Where should I place it? I have AI LED lights with max setting at40 for blue and about 30 for white

I am curious where you heard T. radiata has to have a flat bottom, and other sub species dont? (thats a new one for me) That looks like a T. geoffroyi to me, but the two are so similar they are often confused.

On the internet from several sites.......I have no idea if it is true or not, but that's what they explained as the main difference.
