Freshwater plants

Not sure where to post this. It’s time soon for me to trim my freshwater tank and I hate throwing the cuttings in the trash. I don’t know the names of everything but here’s a pic. The guy I got the tank from started the grass in the foreground from just one clump. Come on over and take what you want I know it’s freshwater but I know how our hobby spills over to other genres. I can give you a small clump of red macro also to keep this legal

Like corals it depends on the plants you are growing, but in general planted tanks are very easy ime. Don't need tons of light, water changes are much easier, and only other maintenance really is trimming the plants every so often. You can go crazy, and add big lights and CO2 infusion, but they arent required for most plants you can put in them. Filtration can be pretty simple too, as the plants naturally suck up a fair amount of nutrients and help general water quality

Yeah it's more like trying to keep the plants from going too crazy in this tank. I'm going to pull some grass from around the other plants to be able to see them a little more. Some of the other stuff just needs to be trimmed. I like to see the driftwood and big stones. There's so much in there that's gotten covered over. I have an empty 75g reef tank that I want to grow some macros and easy big corals in. I'll be starting a post soon for that to get some ideas.
