Glass scraper

I've been meaning to pickup some razor blades to cleanup the glass near my sand-bed which doesn't get a super good clean when I run my mag float.

So in my search, I came across these:

Anyone try em? Wondering if they would be effective?

I've never seen that type before but I am a firm believer, with examples, of "you get what you pay for"

Do some research on 'easy blade' made by Algae Free. I know bulk reef supply sells them.

I have one and it is probably one of the best purchases I've made in this hobby. It takes off coraline algae like butter.

You do have to commit to forever gluing it to your mag float though. I glued mine to my Hammerhead Magnet cleaner and it works great!

I have the easy blade as well, just a bit nervous with scratches...

I would recommend the AquaMedic one. It is like 6" across and the blade is a high quality stainless that does not rust even if you leave it a little bit wet - I bought replacement pack of blades and am still on the original. Best scraper that I have ever used. You can screw an extension into it to get down low.
