Got a APEX lite but to dumb to use it......

I think the neptune apex is well documented as far a reef equiptment goes. Are you stepping through the on line pdf? http://www.neptunesystems.com/support/docs/

OK I am starting to chill some, I finally got it to respond to my computer and now it is becoming better to understand I guess. I am reading and researching like crazy and have some things working. The main thing I want is heater controll, a ph reading and for the equiptment to work. (2xpumps, 1xlight,1xATO,1x skimmer). So far I have the temp probe connected and I think the heater set into it, a PH probe is working but not calibrated yet, pumps are working under manual on. I do not have the email set right or anything on the iphone yet(haven't got the iphone point yet.) I am by park meadow mall area but will continue to play with it. Thanks for your help so far.

Leaving it for now, back to being mad at it. 
can't get it to connect to iphone app or aquatic log, cant figure the feeding stuff out plus more. It is running all the equipment for now almost all (besides temp) in manual mode. Feeds don't work when selected. So far I have spent the good part of 8 hours on this thing. More to come

So you won't have external access yet. Wait a little bit when fusion gets released and it will be easier. Or we can setup a time and I can help you out with it. It's a lot easier once you figure out what I lt likes. Hang in there

Thanks deboy69, I played with it some more and starting to get it closer. I did sign up for a true IP addy and I ws able to get iphone to show the status of the apex, while in the house with my wifi, however when I went to safeway and cabelas I got a time out error message and could not get updates. I don't think it could sign in. Guess I need to figure that out. Slowly I am figuring out how to program it and have it running all equiptment besides the light on Auto. Light is still controlled by AI programmer. Now to figure out the out of house app and I will be happy.
Got it. Thanks to Russ at reeftronics I was able to get all the network issues up and running. Yeah me. Thinking that the Apex might be too much for us non computer literate knuckleheads but that to great members for the help. I am up and running and have programmed a feedA zone and a feedB/cleaning zone. now to figure programing of the warning sounds and notifications.
