I've seen a few people asking what they can put in their sump's but when I made my sump, I designed it to have a refuge area. Currently has a sand bed, live rock, tons of microorganisms, baby feather dusters sprouting everywhere, chaeto, and some other things. But one of the less desirable things in my sump because it's such a low flow area, is the algae and detrius settle. Whatever goes down there obviously won't be for display purposes but I'd like to keep the sump healthy looking. Any ideas?
