My Ick Cure

Okay so some ick shows up in my tank on a new fish My poor green goby looks like a leper. So I just started feeding them all garlic powder, just cheap old garlic powder. They go crazy and after a week, no visible ick and no ick at all on my yellow tang.

We bought this jar of minced garlic at walmart the other day so i soaked my frozen in some of the juice from that (fair warning, the fridge smelled like some old italian died in it) and a new clown i added that was covered in white two days after purchase healed in three days of this food being fed. I have to add that i aggressively freshwater rodi dipped him the first day (to me this was ten minutes lol), i can't say which knocked back the illness but I'll keep doing it if it comes back. The kids were calling this cinnamon clown "Snow" if that gives you any idea how heavily infested it was. He was a drop off from some random person's tank breakdown so i wasn't surprised when it showed up.

Grated ginger will oftentimes work the same way. Most of the time, the fish will eat it.
