rainbow vs quad color nem

Not sure I've actually heard that term before (aside from now...and the google search that followed).

Dunno that there is a difference other than one is slightly more varied in it's pigments and more colorful? Heck if that's the case then I have "quad color" nems in my tank...a few of my rainbows got close to the surface of the tank and went from just green and pink to green, pink, and yellow with flecks of orange in them. Others have white striping instead of the orange flecks.

Looking at pics online, a few of the nems I see labeled as "quad color" are identical to the rainbow morphs I picked up from Josh in the past.

Rainbow nems are Entacmaea Quadricolor so there is no difference. There are just different color variations like Rainbow, Lemon Drop, Sunburst, etc

LOL...I didn't even think about it being derived from the scientific name. derp.

Creative marketing?
