Red slime / Dino help

Kill the algae and then you can work on the problem. Most likely high p04.
Could be the rocks. It takes up to 4 days for all the red algae to die. Almost everyone has this problem from time to time.

You sound new to the hobby.
Try not to make this hobby harder for you than it needs to be.

Not new at at all, that’s why I am perplexed. This is my first nano tank though, so that makes it a bit different. I’ve had a successful 75 and a 125 back in the day. Those tanks were very easy and very natural compared to this little tank. Main difference was I started with good reef rock. Been out of the hobby since 2014.
