Reef Brites

#1
I'm in the process of getting 3 reef brites for my 72. Just running one 50/50 48 inch For now next month I will be grabbing my blue and then another 50/50. Anyone of this site just using Reefbrites to light their tanks. Im gonna see what I get just running my 50/50 for now. Its only my 1st day running all reefbrites everything is wide open and seems fine. My long tentacle anemones are still acclimating to the new lighting, so it will be a few days for them to adapt. If my sps starts to take a turn for the worse I will just set my t5s up with my reefbrite. View attachment 2105

I am using only Reefbrites on my 90g. I am using 2 blues and 2 50/50s on my tank, all 48". Everything grows fine in my tank.

They are equivalent to 1 t5 so I would do at least 4 if you have sps I would run your t5's still. 4 units is 1000 for that you can buy 2 aqua illuminations which I know will grow anything and they are dimmable. IMO that's better in case the lights are too intense you can dim them. It's all opinions but if you have ever been to mdrumm house you be sold on aqua illuminations. He has some of the most demanding corals and excellent growth.

I was told I needed 5 for my 120 to replace my MH, instead I got some evo's total price is $600 for two, cheaper if you buy from wirick. Not dimmable, but does the trick just fine with my SPS. If you're bleaching coral; move the coral down, move the lights up, or shorten the photo period. These can cover 2x2 area as opposed to aquailluminations that only do a 1x2 area. Great for our not as deep tanks if you ask me

My 50/50 is much stronger than one t5 bulb and 4 strips is too much for my 72 just gonna do 3 The SPS I do have are not very light demanding my Ltas are the only thing I need to make sure they get blasted
