where to buy scrap metal

i know alot of you built metal stands on here and was wondering where do you buy the metals from? im looking for 4 pieces of 11 guage steel plate maybe 7"x22" each.

I didn't use them but one of the places I was looking at getting my steel from was Altitude Steel. Their prices were close to wholesale.

Atlas Metals is a good one, too. Aluminum, ALRECO all the way. If you're looking for 22 ga or thinner, go talk to some roofing/siding/gutter companies, they usually have a boat load of scrap metal.
