WaterBox 100.3 -- Tank Only (~75 gal) -- never seen water!

I noticed a couple of very small, minor chips on the top of front glass on our brand new WaterBox 100.3, and being a perfectionist, I ordered a new tank so the one with slight chips is available for sale.

I bet you wouldn't even notice the chips if I didn't tell you where they are :) The tank has never even seen water!!

Dimensions are: 36" (width) x 24" (front to back) x 20.47" (tall)

In any case -- $500 or trade for stands for our frag tanks that are coming in shortly (not looking for anything crazy fancy)

I'll post pics momentarily.

Wish I new how to use all my carpentry tools in the garage haha. How big are the tanks and what type of stands would you be looking for?

I have 3 frag tanks coming in -- all 3 are 8' long x 30" front to back. The stands need to be of varying heights because frag tanks are going to be feeding one another via gravity. There'll be a sump on the bottom of each tank as well. Just looking for very basic stand painted white, and some sort of a mechanism (whether it be a door or something else) to cover the sump area so my cat doesn't go for a swim and my dog doesn't drink from in there :)

As I mentioned, the chips are miniscule and you probably wouldn't even notice them unless I showed them to you! I didn't notice them until my wife pointed them out to me ...... which I kind of wish she didn't! Would've saved myself some $$ and a ton of work :)

Please note the "tank only" is for sale! I'm using the stand, sump, etc etc for the new tank that I received.

Sorry for getting off topic with your sale. I just saw waterbox aquariums on Facebook for the first time. How do you think they compare to Red Sea in value and quality? The waterbox 135 has peaked my interest. It seems like a really nice setup and similar to the Red Sea 425 setup but kind of expensive to buy without seeing it in person! Thanks for the info!

From what I have seen of them they are pretty top notch and very comparable to Red Sea tanks, but a much more affordable price. They are fairly new on the scene though so havent seen one of these up and running for a long period yet, but pretty sure we will ;)

No worries at all! Having sold Red Sea Reefer tanks in the past, I can answer that question perfectly well :)

They are both great manufacturers, but quite frankly, after seeing a WaterBox, I'm totally in love -- they just seem so much more thought out. From 24" depth (front to back -- those extra 2" really do help a lot in create a more open aquascape!), to pre-glued self leveling mat, to soft-close doors on the cabinet, I can keep going :)

We actually have the 100.3 here on display if you'd like to come check it out (just send me a PM or email me at support@reefbazaar.com) -- it's not quite setup as the plan is to move this "for sale" tank down, put the new tank up, and fill it up this weekend ... if all goes well! :D

Regarding prices -- WaterBox comparable to Red Sea Reefer 425, is the Waterbox Platinum 135.4; right off the bat, you're getting a bigger tank for the same/less amount of money! (135g combined water volume on the WaterBox vs 112g on the RedSea). Red Sea in black, retails for $1949.99, and in white, retails for $2049.99; Waterbox, in either black or white, normally retails for $1949.99, AND they are actually running a sale where the 135.4 is discounted to $1754.99! :)

I can honestly keep going but to sum it all up (as I need to get back to coding for the day job :p ), having sold a lot of Red Sea Reefer's before, and having a Waterbox for our display here now, I can honestly tell you that I would prefer WaterBox over Red Sea any time, any day. Again, you are more than welcome to come and check it out (that's what I got it for! :) so fellow reefers can make a educated decision before spending so much money) -- we can also order them for you and have them shipped direct to your house should you choose to do so (price will be exactly the same as ordering directly through WaterBox web site).

This weekend only -- $400 so we don't have to put it in storage. After that, tank goes in storage and we'll set it up as one of our fish / invert holding systems!
