160- gal tank and stand for trade or sale

#1
Hi everyone my first time posting on this site. I bought a 140 gal tank several years ago and now my wife and I need the space back. It is a old sherman tank with the overflow with bio balls in the back. It has a homemade stand also.
I bought the setup for about 500 bucks. i have bought a 48" reef brite led light for a couple hundred bucks also.
I am looking to get a tank that is a 60 to 70 gal tank that I can continue my exploration into the world of corals. I have a dogface puffer a sailfin tang, a large stars and stripes puffer and a 20" snowflake eel and a large keyhole damsel.
Any guidance would be grateful on what I can do to move on in the wonderful world of Reefing!!!
I will post pictures and dimensions soon I just want to get something started.

Welcome! I'm not sure those puffers and the eel will do well with inverts, but if you don't mind replacing them, then you should be good to go. I don't know what lights or filtration you have, but we can help with that too

60-70 gallon tank is going to be too small for that tang.. might want to get rid of it or keep your 140.

I'm sorry I guess I didnt explain myself. Im looking to sell the tank and all the fish along with it. I would love to keep the tang but I know he needs a bigger home.

I have a 55g and a 75g that I am trying to sell or trade right now. It would be just the tank and equipment though so I am not sure what kind of trade you would want because it sounds like you are trying to down size for a reef setup with corals and everything? Let me know if I can help.....my tanks are posted on here.

im not understanding your post. my puffers are fine with my crabs. I am looking to sell everything or trade for a smaller tank..
I think he's saying maybe you're just lucky. Puffers are known to eat up crabs & shrimp, and are definitely not considered "reef-safe" usually. In fact they need to hone their teeth on crunchy stuff, lol. Otherwise their teeth can actually get out of hand. Regardless, nothing to do with the sale of your entire setup.
