I've been noticing weird measurements/inaccurate gallonage lately. Maybe because I recently started paying attention. For example, a 125g was offered with the outside dims of 72x18x18. If you use the outside dims that's only 101g! Now if you take into account standard fill levels and glass thickness the new measurements are 71.25x17.25x16.375. Use those to find the new gallonage....87.13g. Wow! That's more than a 30g difference from the manufacturers quoted gallonage.

I used a .375" (3/8) side glass thickness, .625" (5/8) bottom glass thickness, I assumed the tank was filled 1" from the top.

Next lets do my tank, a typical 120g with outside dims if 48x24x24. Taking the same assumptions from above my inside measurements are, 47.25x23.25x22.375. This makes my tank a 106.41g. Is there actually 106g in my DT? No. I didn't take into account my overflows, rock, or sand.

The question is now how many gallons do you actually have?

also going back to post #2. i love the M$ surface iv been following it for a long time. It has come a long way. I cant wait till they only cost 200$ ;)

Still for the $350, I'd consider it. For me a refined consumer product would much easier to get wrapped around in then going around looking like a geeky tourist. Refined product+$200=my next buy

it called me an idiot in Japanese

it actually did almost as good talking to me in Japanese as English :LOL: Though I wasn't really impressed with it in either language. It really cant hold a conversation just respond to what you just said. It doesn't seem to look back any further at what else was said.

Because it's a nice Charity that Elite Reef decided would be a good choice. The event is their event, we are just also hosting a meeting during the event. Those details are up to them, and I for one like the idea of helping out a charity.
