auto top off?

Does anyone have an auto top off that I can borrow? I will be out of town on june 26th-28th, and then I will be gone from July 23th-30th. I am looking to just borrow one for now, maybe I will buy it in-between my first and second trip. I will need everything to make it work if you have it. Just let me know what you have

I have a 45g brute can already set up for being an ATO but I don't have a float valve. You can probably get one at reef and pond or aqua imports.

I am actually looking for something a little smaller. Do you have the pump and everything, just not the float valve?

The weight of the water In the can is enough to push it through the line to the float valve. So no pump is needed. I used two of these daisy chained together on my 120g for two weeks and it worked perfect. Only used half of the water in each can too.

Just ordered a float valve for frag tank from USP Plastics. 8$ Thanks for the idea of a gravity feed ATO.

would that work for a smaller volume of water that is propped just above my sump? just so I wouldn't need to use a pump

Yepp that would work may have issues when the level gets really low in ato tank.

ok, so I have posted a thread in the DIY section, if you guys could answer some questions for me that'd be awesome! I just know that this isn't a discussion forum, but a more classifieds and I don't want to break rules haha.

But now I am looking for things to build the ATO, so I need a tank to put it in. What does everyone have?
