Just curious where everyone buys their Nori from. I have been getting mine at the Asian market at Federal & Alameda. $12 for 100 1/2 sheets (or $15 for 50 full sheets). Anyone know of a better deal...closer to aurora would be good too.

haven't bought any in long time but that seems like a good deal to me.

I don't know deals, but just Google Asian Markets Aurora and there will be a bunch closer to you. Broomfield's Pacific Ocean is closest to us NorthDenver folks.

Have you tried Lotus or Lek's down there?

I go to king soopers. its like 3 dollars for 50 sheets i think.
If you want bulk go to H Mart its off of parker road nead havana, right behind Fish Palace.
They have all different kinds of nori, a whole aisle dedicated to it lol. From natural 2ft long seaweed strands to normal sheets, have all the kinds to. Red, purple, green
avg price is like 8$ after tax

Re: Nori sheets

Thanks guys. I know kings and safeway have it...but I recall it being like $3 for ten 1/2 sheets...I know petco has it also for like $7 for ten also. I haven't looked into what Asian markets are around aurora...was hoping someone was familiar with them. I just knew about the one I go to from when I worked with Pat and Julie from Golden Fish.

Mike, the H-Mart Asian market on the corner of Parker Rd and Yale has Nori sheets. From what I recall it was $14 for 100 full sheets. You want the non salted ones. Stuff lasts forever for me. 100 sheets will last a few years.

+1. For me, a pack from King Soopers lasts many, many months. I don't feed it every day, but by the time I get near the end of the pack I am glad, as it has generally soaked up moisture from the air, been spilled and shredded etc. I couldn't see buying that stuff in bulk--the cost per piece is near nothing anyway.

Re: Nori sheets

I feed about a sheet a day. I know its not a huge expense how I do it now...except for the drive, and time spent, which is the part I am trying to avoid.
