Sorry to derail your thread Craig. You should have no problem selling a 14" sunburst for $400 but you will probably need to go to a national market like r2r or Reef Central to get your asking price.

When we were doing retail to the public we would sell quality sunbursts for $300-$400 depending on size and color so $400 is not unheard of.

That's 400 shipped and all the ones I have sold are like atleast 8 in or bigger! So in the end after shippin they only pay like 325!
