yea that was the original plan for it. I am still going to use the stock tank for a sump but for my existing 55g. Since i can not upgrade the DT i will settle for upgrading my filtration capacity so when it comes time to get a new DT i will have to do less work.

yea well it is what it is.....i really wanted a 125 anyways so know i can just wait and get some things paid then upgrade and it wont be such a large project.....but i still am upgrading in a way the 55 is going from FOWLR to a reef tank...I am always trying to look at the positive side

I meant around your house so I could come take a peek. I did look up the build thread and recieved the proper authorizations to purchase the tank (she said yes! ) The only thing I'm concerned about is overall height. The "spot" for the tank to sit is 55.5" and 24" of depth will work. Based on what I read, I see 41.5 in stand height + 30" of tank height. Need to know how high the canopy is as the "spot" has a 84" roof line.
