That is one beautiful nem! I have never tried taking a razor blade to a BTA before but I have split maxi minis numerous times in the same manner. I always make sure to wear gloves and do a quick iodine dip after doing them. They are a bit tricky because they are so insanely sticky, it can be tricky to get them to let go of your fingers and lay flat on the cutting board. I've even gotten bold and cut a large one into fourths; all four pieces survived!

Thanks. It's probably not as bad as that first time anyone has drilled their tank. If that breaks, you're screwed, if the members dies, it's just tragic but life goes on.
