I have had life happen big time as of late. When Don passed it got me thinking about where and what I want out of my life.
Then there is a cancer scare with my Dad, we still dont know yet if he has it or not but his health has been bad this year. Then just before I left for the weekend I got news that my grandfather has passed.

So with all that said I am taking a break. I know I belong in Mexico that is for sure. I need to focus my time and money on buying land/home there and making the move. At this time I am unsure if I am going to keep my 300 depends on next months power bill lol (I would rather spend that money on my life plain). I will keep my 10 and finish the reef 2 reef nano in 90. If I sell /part out the 300 I will offer to masc members first.

Also I am going to fullfill my comitment to the Don build. I still feel strong about that project!

I just wanted you all to hear it from me. I just need the ocean in my life and I need to live my life happy. I love Mexico and I feel at home there.

Sorry to hear that. Cancer is getting the best of everyone these days my grandfather was diagnosed with cancer last year it's sad. I hope everything goes good for you. I know what you mean by wanting to be by the ocean all the time I wish I could too. Do what makes you happy we only live once.

Our hearts are with you during this difficult time. My wife's mother has pancreatic cancer and we are doing a lot of flight time to spend it with her as well. Do what you need to do and be where you are most needed to spend time with those that matter most.

Mike your a great guy you will be missed alot and if we could force you to stay I'm sure we would try but that would be selfish. You've given so much to this community that is just not replacable. I hope you end up in Mexico where your happy and comfortable just like later said you only live once live it how YOU want it. Props to you for cutting the tethers and following your heart; that's always a tough decision. I actually got into reefing partly because I figured it'd help keep me grounded here in CO...but I still get the urge to sell it all and skip out of the country to do what I know is best for me. Not a move I'm ready for yet, still haven't gathered the strength to just go for it.

Life happens, and that clock keeps ticking. Glad to hear you're taking all the difficulties in stride and following through on your dream. That's HUGE.
