I would highly suggest getting 2 singles rather than the dual. (Read the review comments etc.) Basically difficult to get the flow working right from one pump in 2 cannisters. (GFO suppose to be loose and tumbling vs high stream on packed carbon.)
If you like the compact size of the BRS reactor over two separate you should consider going with the Spectrapure model instead which has the same foot print but allows for independent control

Thanks for pointing that product out, I've never seen it. I find the brs so much easier to use when compared to the tlf reactors. The spectrapure seems similar in construction to the brs with the added bonus of dual control.
Nice!!
I have the BRS dual reactor, and I ended up taking it apart and using the canisters separately. The flow into the second canister was low, even with an 800gph pump.

I didn't know people disliked the dual reactor so much. I've used one for a month or so on my other tank and it seems to be working good. Gfo is tumbling nicely, I packed the carbon between 2 sponges and it doesn't tumble at all.

Im sure they are fine but even BRS states that they can be fussy at times and people often have to tweak the flow through them to keep the GFO tumbling properly.

I disagree with this entirley. Much easier to use 2 reactors with one pump. GFO in the first section, carbon in the second. Although I dont use BRS GFO, I use Kents phosphate sponge, worked much better for me, the BRS GFO seemed to turn to mud and clog the thing up, the Kent works much better IMHO! This is probably why people have issues with the dual reactor, change your media and it works great!
