Anyone had this happen before???

I walked up to my tank this morning to find my perfectlyhealthy copper band stuck to my MP-40..... oh i was ****ed, i immediately shutit down and he attempted to swim off but is not looking good. Has anyone everhad this before?? I guarantee he was in great health as he was eating and swimmingfrom one end of the tank to the other at about 11pm last night. Some days ihate this hobby

The only time I have seen that is when the fish is not healthy. The intake on the MP40's is really week and there is no reason a healthy fish should ever get caught in it.

yea he was fat and healthy, thats what i dont understand

mine did the same thing when it was on its way out, good on Monday and hurting on Tuesday

yeah. Happened to me but it is usually a sign that something is wrong with the fish. I would move the fish to qt if you have one.

Maybe he was sleeping in that corner and got a little too close and injured/stressed himself...I doubt it but u never know

Happened to me and a yellow tang twice. First time must of just happened right before I found him. Cause shut down the powerhead and he swam off few months later happend again but must of been stuck for a while cause it killed him.
